Laura's debut picture book with Hazy Dell Press, Klyde the Kraken Wants a Friend, published in April 2023.

Meg Hunt

Meg Hunt is a celebrated and award-winning artist living in Portland, Oregon. In addition to illustrating the acclaimed Hazy Dell Press picture book, Werewolf? There Wolf! and four Hazy Dell Flap Books (Bigfoot Baby!, Alien Baby!, Pumpkin Baby! and Yeti Baby!), Meg has illustrated picture books for Chronicle Books, Bloomsbury, and Workman Publishing. Eisner-nominated illustrator Nicole Miles was born in the Bahamas and currently lives in West Yorkshire, UK, with her pet snake and human boyfriend. Andrea is an editor extraordinaire living in Portland, Oregon. A world-class developmental editor and copy editor, Andrea supports and improves a wide variety of Hazy Dell Press titles, including the Hazy Fables and Hazyscapes middle-grade series. When she's not making Hazy Dell Press a better publishing company, she spends her time crocheting and creating patterns, including this pattern to make your very own barking spiders from Hobgoblin and the Seven Stinkers of Rancidia.

Brooke Hartman

Brooke Hartman is an Alaskan mom and author of silly, serious, and sometimes strange stories for children and young adults. Her writing has garnered national awards, including honors from Writer’s Digest, Pacific Northwest Writers Association, and the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators. When she’s not writing, she can be found flying, fishing, and having fun with her family in their home state of Alaska. Derek Sullivan

Derek Sullivan is a Seattle-based illustrator. He has illustrated many books for children including Party Croc!: A Folktale from Zimbabwe for Albert Whitman & Company; and Hobgoblin and the Seven Stinkers of Rancidia, The Cyclops Witch and the Heebie-Jeebies, Monster ABC, and Goodnight Krampus for Hazy Dell Press. When not illustrating children's books, Derek creates art prints, cards and apparel for his company, Waxwing Press.

Gillian Reid

Gillian Reid is a British illustrator, designer and life drawing professor based in Ontario, Canada. Her works for children include You're My Little Legend for Hazy Dell Press and Peanut Goes for the Gold, written by Queer Eye star Jonathan Van Ness and published by Harper Collins. In between illustrating children's book, Gillian works as the Character Design Supervisor on Netflix's Hilda series.

Katie Cottle

Katie Cottle is an award-winning illustrator and printmaker living in Bristol, UK. Her books for children include You're Out of This World for Hazy Dell Press, Omar and the Bees for Owlet Press, and Home Grown, for which she received a Batsford Prize for children's book illustration. In addition to being distinguished as "highly commended" by the Macmillan Prize for Illustration on several occasions, she received a "One to Watch" award from British Design & Art Direction in 2017.
